My contribution
A hybrid of tables and CSS which I'm not particularly proud of now! However it did lay the foundations for making the transition to using ppurely CSS for layout of later sites. I was also responsible for creating a number of small flash animations for additional content on the site. See Chadwyck-Healey Animated Maps for some examples of the animations.
