Well it's all about wood really = ; )

I love the work I do and care greatly about producing good quality, usable and engaging web sites. My main areas of interest/strengths are:

• XHTML & CSS
• Unobtrusive javascript
• Good usability & accessibility

But I can't live my life on the web. A man has to have hobbies as well, this is where the wood comes in. Last year I took a wood design and build course which really sparked my interest. During the course I built myself a garden bench, which I'm very proud of, and gathered a modest collection of tools. Now I'm thinking about a new project for this year.

So that's where planegrain comes from, I was thinking about getting www.goodwood.com but (a) it sounded a bit pervy and (b) it was already taken . . .
